Cascade Hospital for Animals is a progressive, team oriented, AAHA member hospital. We successfully practice state-of-the-art veterinary medicine in a modern and friendly facility. Our veterinarians can provide many services including orthopedic surgery, endoscopy, ultrasound, and advanced dental care. Our health care team includes nine veterinarians, eleven Licensed Veterinary Technicians plus an extensive support team of Exam Room Technicians, Veterinary Receptionists and Animal Care Technicians.

 Dr. Richard L. Siegle | Dr. Siegle is responsible for the growth of our hospital into a leader in veterinary medicine in West Michigan. A 1978 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine, he carries on the legacy left him by his father, the hospital's founder. His areas of special interest in veterinary medicine are dermatology, internal and preventative medicine and he is particularly sensitive to quality of life issues. Dr. Siegle lives in the Caledonia area with his wife Carla, sons Clayton and Grant, their dogs Dillon and Luna (pictured), and cats Miss Kitty and Sport. |
 Dr. Steven J. McBride | Dr. McBride joined Dr. Siegle in the practice in 1989. He too is a graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine (1987). Orthopedic and neurologic surgery are special interests of his. He has completed many hours of post-graduate training in these areas at Michigan State University and through continuing education programs at Ohio State University. Dr. McBride lives in the Lowell area with his wife, Kathy, and cat, Stache. In his personal time, he enjoys hiking, backpacking, kayaking and kickboxing. |
 Dr. Diane Egedy | Dr. Egedy came to our hospital from another local veterinary practice in October, 1999, after graduating from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Her special interests include internal medicine. She lives in the Kentwood area with her dog, Onyx and cats, Frankie, Kaija, Mya, Emma and Edmund. When not at the hospital, Dr. Egedy enjoys gardening, rollerblading and hiking. Dr. Egedy says she was attracted to Cascade Hospital for Animals because it gives her the opportunity to fulfill her goal of practicing high quality veterinary medicine. |
 Dr. Lynn Happel | Dr. Happel is a 2003 Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine graduate. After practicing veterinary medicine on the lakeshore, Dr. Happel joined Cascade Hospital for Animals in June, 2005. Her special interests include surgery, ultrasound, oncology, dentistry and the intricacies of the bond between humans and their pets. Dr. Happel and her husband live in Caledonia with their dogs Rio and Gerdie and horse Khasanova Khat. Her hobbies include sprint triathlons, trail running, horseback riding and water sports.

 Dr. Laura J. Sullivan | Dr. Laura Sullivan joined our team in September, 2005, after having practiced in northern Michigan for 7 years. You may have seen her on FOX 7 & 4 TV news providing "Pet Health Tips". Dr Sullivan is a 1998 Michigan State University, College of Veterinary Medicine graduate. Her special interests include internal medicine, surgery and the human/animal bond. She and her husband live in the Rockford area with their daughter Meghan, who was born in Feb 07. The Sullivan household also includes two spoiled cats; Malico, a male calico (pictured), and Baboons, a very spoiled female calico. Dr. Sullivan's hobbies include sailing, biking, hiking and snowmobiling. |
 Dr. Gregory J. Paplawsky | Dr. Greg Paplawsky joined Cascade Hospital for Animals after practicing for 5 years in the Kalamazoo area. A native of Grand Rapids, he is a 2001 graduate of Michigan State University's College of Veterinary Medicine and a 1997 graduate of Hope College. In addition to general medicine and surgery, Dr. Paplawsky has a special interest in zoonotic disease, dermatology, and orthopedic surgery.
He, wife Allyson, and sons Benjamin and Thomas share their home with a very precocious cat named Reggie. Outside of work Dr. Paplawsky enjoys family time, reading, travel, working in the yard, and following local professional and college teams. |
 Dr. Amy J. Hoss | Dr. Hoss is a 2005 graduate of Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine. After continuing her training in small animal medicine and surgery at a large referral hospital in Tinton Falls, New Jersey she joined Cascade Hospital for Animals in July, 2006. Her area of special interest is internal medicine. Dr. Hoss and her husband live in the Caledonia area with their dog Riley and four geckos. Dr. Hoss enjoys hiking, bicycling, and other outdoor activities. |
 Dr. Cherie L. Anderson | Dr. Anderson graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May, 2007. Dr. Anderson's professional interests include feline medicine, diabetes, internal medicine, and client education. She shares her E. Grand Rapids home with six cats: Linus, Moo, Bubbaloowawee, Mamoo, Leo and Ollie. During her leisure time she enjoys traveling, horseback riding, reading, gardening and watching movies. |
