Shawsheen Animal Hospital is a full service veterinary hospital that focuses on preventative wellness and patient care. Because we are committed to providing the highest quality medicine and excellent customer service, we were awarded accreditation by the American Animal Hospital Society in March of 2007.
Our dedicated, friendly, and knowledgeable staff places equal emphasis on both animal welfare and client education. Our patients primarily include dogs and cats, though our associate Dr. Fagan does see small pocket pets such as guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, ferrets, chinchillas and hedgehogs.

Shawsheen Animal Hospital was founded in April of 2001 by Dr.'s Caruso and Leblanc. At that time they could only hire 1 staff member to help get this small practice off the ground. Within 1 year the practice had grown enough to support 3 full time staff members and that number has risen every year since. Within the past year or so, the hospital has undergone a large expansion and remodeling so we can better serve the animal families in the immediate area. This has allowed us to open more appointment times and to create a more cat friendly environment to help our feline friends to have better veterinary experiences.
We would like to thank all of our wonderful and supportive clients who entrust us with their pet's well being. We could not have grown so much in such a short amount of time if it wasn't for all of you. Thank you for helping us achieve our dreams!
