Dr. Marc Rosenberg, who you may remember from his P.B.S television show "People Pets & Dr. Marc" on his radio shows on W.C.A.U, W.W.D.B, and K.Y.W, opened the Voorhees Veterinary Center in 1986. Dr. Rosenberg currently staffs six Veterinarians, graduates of the The University of Pennsylvania or Cornell University, all of whom bring unique skills to the hospital.
Dr. Rosenberg and the professional staff of the Voorhees Veterinary Center have strong commitments to the humane efforts of local shelters and rescue groups. In addition, Dr. Rosenberg has a long time association with The Humane Society of The United States, a relationship begun by his father, Dr. Sydney Rosenberg, who was instrumental in establishing the current New Jersey low cost spay neuter program.
The Veterinarians at The Voorhees Veterinary Center have special interests in the areas of veterinary dentistry, surgery, ophthalmology, orthopedics, cancer care and companion pet loss and grief support. These interests along with our comprehensive pet medical care allow our staff of professionals to help you help your pets.

Our hospital was founded in the late 1940s. In 1952, Dr. Buckwalter took over and operated the hospital for the next 30 years. Dr. Deborah Brzezinski bought the hospital in 1983. At the time, it was a solo-practice, but Dr. Brzezinski, with the help and support of her family and dedicated staff, grew the hospital over the years to five veterinarians and a staff of greater than 25 employees.
The physical plant has undergone extensive renovation over the years, with the most recent expansion and upgrade taking place from 1987 to 1989. In the process, we have upgraded all functional areas, more than tripled the interior hospital space, all in an effort to better serve you and your wonderful pets.
Our mission is “to be there for our clients,” and that means being available to you when you need us. We are closed only four days a year: New Years, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas. We also one of few local hospitals open on Sundays. Stop in and see us!
