Description

Welcome to All Creatures Mobile Veterinary!

We provide all the medicine available at a stationary veterinary clinic in the convenient stress free environment of your home.

All Creatures Mobile Veterinary Service opened in May 2012 and our goal is to provide all the medicine available at a stationary veterinary clinic in the convenient stress free environment of your home.

Our base is in Kingston, NH, right now we only see animals living in New Hampshire but may expand to Massachusetts. We treat dogs and cats, but also want to treat your more exotic animals. If you have a reptile we can look at your set up, the majority of reptilian health problems are related to their housing and diet-- a mobile service has the unique opportunity to assess your set up and work with you on any problems. We also see "pocket pet": gerbils, hamsters, rats and sugar gliders) as well as guinea pigs, rabbits and ferrets. Many of these species get very stressed with travelling and don't like sitting next to cats and dogs in busy waiting rooms! We also see most birds (including chickens). If you have any smaller farm animals, we may be able to help you out but do not see cattle and horses.

I grew up in northeastern Massachusetts and spent my childhood reading James Herriot dreaming of a career as a vet or maybe a farmer! During high school and college I considered veterinary medicine but also considered teaching. My summers were spent getting kids excited about animals and nature as a camp counselor in Peterborough, NH. After my undergraduate degree at Carleton College I spent a few years in the midwest before heading to Australia to spend a year taking classes and backpacking. I stayed another 4 years for my veterinary degree at the University of Melbourne in Victoria. It was a great experience and I almost stayed for good.

In March 2005 I moved back to New England with my Aussie dog, Charly, and started working as in a small animal practice in southern New Hampshire-- after my Aussie degree I had to forget about things like snakebites and learn a lot about Lyme disease! In 2008 I switched to full time emergency medicine. A few years ago I started dreaming of my own mobile practice, partly out seeing how stressed animals can be in a hospital environment and also knowing that transportation for some people is a big issue. All Creatures Mobile Veterinary Services opened in May 2012-- we are really excited about our future!
