Description
We would like to tell you a little about our hospital and our staff. We are proud to be a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA hospitals are voluntarily inspected to make sure they maintain the highest standard of animal care. We have been honored to receive our four-year accreditation; this is the highest level of achievement and one that only 10% of AAHA hospitals reach.
Our Medical Director, Kirsten Cianci VMD, and our two associate veterinarians, Glen Stockett DVM and Katherine Sinko VMD, have been with the practice since the summer of 2000. They all regularly participate in continuing educational seminars to be current in the latest medical advancements.
From the front desk to the exam rooms, to the kennel area and the surgical suite, the rest of our team brings a great deal of experience and enthusiasm to Allenwood.
We pride ourselves on treating your pets as if they were our own. Our mission statement states it all: Your pet’s health is our top priority and excellent service is our goal.

Dr. Kirsten Cianci
Dr. Cianci, a 1988 graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, is our Medical Director. She has been with the hospital since June 2000. On those rare instances when she is away from the office she enjoys working outside, reading science fiction books, and is a devoted sports fan.
Dr. Glen Stockett
Dr. Stockett graduated from Cornell University in 1996. He has been practicing in New Jersey since then and has been with our hospital since 2000. Dr. Stockett is one of the few veterinarians in the area that will treat exotic pets and he also performs orthopedic cruciate repair surgery. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, New Jersey Medical Association and Cornell Feline Health Center. He is also certified with the USDA so that he can perform exams for International Health Certificates.
When not at the hospital, Dr. Stocett enjoys spending time with his wife Teresa, their 2 cats, and their rescued Pug "Stink."
