Doctors
Dr. Cynthia Hoisington, DVM
Dr. Hoisington grew up in Norwich, Vermont (in the Upper Valley, on the border with New Hampshire). Growing up with dogs, cats, horses and sheep, she knew from childhood that she wanted to become a veterinarian. She graduated magna cum laude from UNH and received her DVM degree from Cornell University in 1999, with honors. Dr. Hoisington has been practicing at the Animal Health Center since 2001, and in 2005 she purchased the practice from Dr. Jennifer Raaf. She lives in Barrington with her husband, 2 sons, cat "Polly D" and dog "Charlotte".
Dr. Jan Allard, DVM
Dr. Allard graduated from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, she earned a Masters degree in Business from Johns Hopkins University. Dr. Allard has been practicing at the Animal Health Center since 2005, and she had 4 years small animal experience prior to joining the our staff. She lives in New Durham with her husband and son.
