Animal Medical Center is a full service hospital. Preventative care includes all the services that work to keep a pet healthy. These include comprehensive physical examinations at recommended intervals, vaccinations as needed, heartworm prevention year round, nutritional management, oral health care including regular teeth cleaning, weight control, early detection blood, and urine screening testing, intestinal parasite control, behavioral issues, obedience training and more.
Animal Medical Center also provides sick patient care. Many routine problems such as ear infections, itchy skin, or a mild lameness can be diagnosed and treated at the time allotted for an office examination.
If your pet needs to be admitted, the hospital provides comfortable and safe accommodations. Our staff is very experienced at treating and caring for sick pets.

Doctors
Dr. Brancato - DVM
Dr Brancato is originally from Dutchess County, New York and received his Bachelor of Arts degree in Biology at the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh. Prior to entering veterinary college he worked as a surgical research assistant at the Veterans Administration Medical Center at Castle Point, New York and was a contributory author to eleven national medical publications.
Dr Brancato received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at the New York State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell University in 1987. Following several years of small animal practice in New York and then Florida, he became the practice owner at Animal Medical Center in 1992. Dr Brancato is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, Florida Veterinary Medical Association, and the Pinellas County Veterinary Medical Society, and was selected to appear in the 1992 edition of Who's Who in Veterinary Science and Medicine. Dr Brancato currently lives in Largo, Florida, with his wife Andrea, along with their four cats(Newman,Stella,Elaine,Hannah) and dog( Molly).
