Dr. Stephen Watase D.V.M.
Dr. Stephen Watase has been a resident of the Conejo Valley since 1988. He and his wife Alison moved from St. Paul, Minnesota where Dr. Watase completed his Internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Minnesota, College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Watase received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine with High Honors from the UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine in 1985.
Dr. Watase purchased the Anza Animal Clinic in 1993 from Dr. Michael Gordon.
He and Alison have a son, Danny, and daughter, Coco. He has three dogs, two cats, several turtles and Koi.
Away from the office his is often on the golf course.
Dr. Andrew Miller D.V.M.
Dr. Miller graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in May 2005. He also has a Bachelor of Science in Biology from Loyola Marymount University. In 2005-2006 he did a one year Small Animal Internal Medicine and Surgery Internship at Veterinary Medical and Surgical Group (VMSG) in Ventura where he had intensive post-graduate training in internal medicine, surgery, radiology, and emergency medicine. He then worked for one year in Santa Barbara before moving closer to his family in Los Angeles. In his free time, he enjoys mountain biking and snowboarding. Dr. Miller is a very caring, thorough, and conscientious veterinarian who gives our patients the type of quality care that clients expect at Anza Animal Hospital.
