Welcome to apalachee ridge, an aaha accredited veterinary hospital dedicated to caring for your pets as much as you do. Dr. Mike wanchick and his experienced team will provide your pet with excellent medical care as well as lots of tlc.
We invite you to visit apalachee ridge for your pets wellness exams and vaccines. Our full service facility also offers x-ray and in house diagnostics, so wait time for test results is minimal. Should your pet require surgery, our dedicated surgical suite is on site and appointed with state of the art equipment.
Grooming is part of our every day services as well, and you can rest assured our loving staff is caring for your pets as if they were our own.

Dr. Mike Wanchick

Dr. Michael Wanchick is a 1998 Graduate from the College of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Georgia. Previous to this he received his undergraduate degree in Microbiology at Miami University and Masters degree in Biology at Georgia Southern University. Dr. Wanchick, his wife Trina, son Ethan, and daughter Hazel, have 2 dogs, 3 cats and occasionally a litter of squirrels (if it is squirrel breeding season).

Dr. Beth VerSteeg

Beth VerSteeg, DVM Dr. Ver Steeg is a 1999 graduate from the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, and went on to complete a one year internship at Georgia Veterinary Specialists. She lives in Buford with her husband John, 2 cats, and 2 Grayhound rescues.
