2012 A A H A Hospital of the Year Finalist!
The goal of the A A H A -Accredited Practice of the Year Awards is to recognize the outstanding achievements of accredited general primary care practice teams. We are so excited that we are one of the five finalists throughout all of the United States and Canada!
I graduated from The Ohio State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. I returned to Ashtabula County to live with my husband Ed. Shortly thereafter I became the owner of Austinburg Veterinary Clinic. I have always been passionate about animals and animal welfare. I have embraced this wholeheartedly as a veterinarian. I am committed to providing my clients and patients with the very best care I can. I understand that pets are not just dogs or cats, they are beloved family members.
My family members include my husband, Ed, my daughter, Emma and my son Edison, as well as our dogs, cats, horses, goats, tortoises, and chickens. We are active members in Ashtabula County 4H. In my spare time (ha ha), I like to ride horses, am an avid reader and recently started participating in triathlons.
I am also proud to say that I was appointed by Governor Kasich to the Ohio Veterinary Medical Licensing Board. It is an honor to serve on this important board that looks out for not only the welfare of veterinary patients, but their owners as well.
Dr. Susan Paulic, D V M
I received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 2002. Since then, I have been in small animal practice in Northeast Ohio. I have a strong interest in soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, pain management and zoonotic disease (disease that can be spread between animals and people). I feel very fortunate that my career is one that allows me to help people and their pets live longer, healthier and happier lives.
I live in Concord Township with my husband, Mareo and our two children, Simon and Sonja. We have two cats and a Bull Terrier named Roman. I enjoy riding and showing my horses Penelope and Clementine, traveling with my family and spending time with friends.
