Brooke Lechlitner, DVM
Dr. Brooke Lechlitner is a 2009 graduate from Purdue University's School of Veterinarian Medicine. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky and holds a B.S. in animal sciences. After graduating from veterinary school, she and her fiance moved to the Austin area from Indiana. Dr. Brooke started with Banfield in 2009 and loves helping pet owners take care of their pets. She enjoys preventative care medicine and surgery. Dr. Brooke's family consists of her dog, Colt, her cats Boz and Scooter, and her ball python, Togo, and her soon-to-be husband, Brian. In her free time, she enjoys reading, gardening, and cooking.
Kimberly Boyd, DVM
Dr. Boyd is a native Austinite who knew she wanted to be a veterinarian since she was a little kid. She grew up with quite an assortment of animals including a parrot, an iguana, a tarantula, and numerous dogs over the years. In order to make her goal a reality, she attended Southwestern University in Georgetown and graduated with a major in animal behavior and then later attended and graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. Dr. Boyd moved back home to the Austin area and began working with Banfield after graduation and has been there ever since. Her areas of interest in veterinary medicine include dermatology and internal medicine. Dr. Boyd enjoys spending time with her husband, her black lab Midnight, working in the yard, and cooking in her free time.
Amanda Vasicek, DVM
Dr. Vasicek was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. She graduated from Oklahoma State University (OSU) in 2002 with a BS in Biology and completed her Degree in Veterinary Medicine in 2007 at OSU Center for Veterinary Health Sciences. She moved to Austin in July 2007, joining the Banfield team as an associate veterinarian. Her areas of interest include ophthalmology, dermatology, and all things Cavalier King Charles Spaniel (CKCS). In her free time, Dr. Vasicek enjoys spending time with her spoiled canine child, an 8 year old CKCS named Tessa, reading, and re-learning to play the piano.
