One of our CVT's Angela, is running bloodwork for her patients. In house labwork allows for fast results and quicker diagnostics. Labwork compliments a doctors physical exam and helps us determine how your pet's body is functioning. Our goal is early detection of a problem while it is still treatable!
Digital Radiography allows our medical team to bypass the tedious process of chemical processing while creating a digitally enhanced image fast! This increased efficiency means better overall quality of xrays and less stress on our patients. In this photo, Dr. Henton is rechecking xrays from a patient who recently had reconstructive orthopedic surgery.
Renee may not look thrilled to have her picture taken, but we are thrilled to have her at our hospital. Not only is she a talented CVT, she is also fluent in American Sign Language which is a big help for our hearing imparied and deaf pet parents.
Doctors
Tracy Corcoran, DVM
Hi. I'm Dr. Tracy Corcoran. I graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2004. I have been practicing in the Maplewood Banfield hospital for 8 years, but have been with the practice for 15 years. I have a passion for internal medicine and focusing on providing the best preventative care for my patients. When I'm not at work, I enjoy playing and hunting with my British Labrador Retrivers and spending time with my family.
Melissa Henton, DVM

Dr. Ashley Nichols
Hello! My name is Dr. Ashley Nichols and I attended vet school at the University of Minnesota. I have been practicing as a veterinarian with Banfield since graduating in 2010, but have been with the practice for 5 years. I have two cats (Precocious and Abominable) and two dogs (Montague and Bingley). I have a passion for both surgery and for providing quality preventive care in order to reduce the number of sick pets that I see.
