About Me: Growing up I moved around a little bit, living in California, Georgia, South Carolina and Oklahoma. One of the constants during these moves, however, were our 2 dogs: Princess and Buddy.
From a very young age, all I wanted to do was make animals better. As I've matured, this has evolved into making sure that I'm doing what I can to give pets a high quality of life via high quality medical care.
During my free time I like to spend time with my husband, our 2 dogs and 2 cats. We enjoy watching movies, going to parks, eating out, and experiencing new things!
I enjoy the opportunity to care for someone else's beloved pet the most about being a Veterinarian. I give all my patients the same care and attention I would want my own family members to receive.

Education:
B.S. in Mammalian Physiology from OSU, Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from OSU.
About Me:
My father is a veterinarian and I grew up in his practice. I come from a long line of farmers and ranchers in Oklahoma. Our family has a modest farm and growing up, we worked on just about any animal that needed our help. Cattle, horses, dogs, and cats were certainly regular visitors, but I can remember working on a variety of other critters, even an ostrich or two! We always shared our homes with dog and cats and often shared our home (to my mother's chagrin) with other less orthodox pets such as snakes, lizards, rats, and even tarantulas.
I enjoy spending my free time with my family and teaching my son about the animal world like my father did with me. I also enjoy hunting, rock hounding, amateur paleontology and reading books on Civil War History, and J.R.R. Tolkein.
I enjoy getting to know the pets (and parents) the most about being a Veterinarian. I also enjoy the challenge involved in working with exotic animals. You really never know what is next in this line of work. It keeps you on your toes. You might see a goldfish with throat cancer (see above picture) right after a puppy for routine vaccines.
