Dr. K graduated in 2001 from Emmanuel Baptist High School in Toledo, OH. She graduated in 2006 from Spring Arbor University in Ann Arbor, MI with a major in Biology and a minor in chemistry. Dr. K then graduated in 2010 from MSU College of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. K greatly enjoys farming on her family farm, raising cash crops (corn, wheat, soybeans, hay). She also has sheep and goats as pets. She enjoys spinning wool into yarn and gardening. She also enjoys taking long walks with her two dogs (Duchess and Samson).
Dr. Catherine Lavigne earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee, May 2011.
She grew up in nearby Woodville where she was involved in basketball, track, and 4-H. She earned her Bachelors of Science in Biology and International Business at the University of Findlay in 2007. Dr. Lavigne has been with us since August 2013 and is currently a member of the American Veterinary Medical Assoc. and the Ohio Veterinary Medical Assoc. Her areas of interest include small animal surgery and preventive medicine.
Dr. Lavigne's children include her dog, Jake, and horse, Govenor. In her spare time, Dr. Lavigne enjoys horseback riding, reading, exercising and traveling the world.
