Description

Welcome to braden run animal hospital

at braden run animal hospital, your pet comes first. He is our focus. He is our reason for existing. Once you come in the door with your pet, he becomes part of us. We endeavor to uphold the rigorous standards set forth by aaha*, and ourselves. Our mission is to make sure we have done everything within our power to see that your pet is happy, healthy, and, most of all, free of suffering. That means providing you, with the most up to date information available in veterinary medicine. This information will allow you to decide on a course that is appropriate for your pet and yourself. We will always recommend the best thing for your pet, even when the circumstances are difficult. We are his voice.

Thank you for entrusting your pet’s care to us. We take our profession very seriously. Your pet is the reason we chose this vocation. He is the reason our hospital was built. We hope to show you how much we deserve his and your trust.

About us

as always, welcome! Our goal is to always provide the finest in veterinary care to your pets (your extended family) and to be kind and considerate to you, the owner.

Braden run animal hospital [brah] opened its doors in may 2002. Initially the practice started in the basement of the mcmillen's waynesburg home. The less than 600 square feet area consisted of a waiting/reception room, one exam room, a surgery room, x-ray/dark room, lab/laundry room. Initially we were a mixed animal practice with a 24 hour emergency service seeing all species of animals, including birds and reptiles.

The practice quickly outgrew the mcmillen's basement and a new 1800 square foot fully equipped modern animal hospital was built adjacent to the mcmillen's home. The basement is now used as an annex storage area and offsite office and is electronically connected to the main hospital.

We felt (and still feel) that pets within our service area needed and deserved a hospital that acts as their advocate. This developed into our mission to make sure we have done everything within our power to see that your pet is happy, healthy, and, most of all, free of suffering.

To help realize our goal we chose to uphold the standards of the american animal hospital association (aaha); accreditation is the standard of excellence in veterinary care. Braden run animal hospital is the "only" aaha accredited animal hospital in greene county pa.

Our animal hospital was last inspected by aaha july, 2010. The aaha inspections contribute greatly to the care we provide our patients. Accreditation helps keep us focused on what is important for the care of you pet as well as you, the owner. Aaha encourages continuing improvement through meetings and seminars with that goal in mind. We are proud to be a member of the organization!
