Description
We provide a wide range of veterinary care services, from routine wellness exams to complex orthopedic surgical procedures. Our patients include dogs, cats, and pocket pets, such as rabbits, hamsters and guinea pigs, as well as exotics. The unique family home setting that we provide creates a warm and welcoming environment which helps to reduce the stress many animals experience during traditional veterinary care. What’s more, because your pet will see the same doctor every time they come in for a visit, we will all be able to get to know one another better and forge a strong, trusting relationship.
At Cottage Animal Clinic of Carmel, we consider our patients and our clients a part of the family and we want you to feel right at home while you’re with us. We also believe that you, as guardian and caretaker, play a key role in your pet’s health and well-being. That’s why we will always take the time to educate and provide valuable advice on all of your pets’ medical and behavioral needs. Our goal is to work with you to help your pet enjoy a long, happy and healthy life

Doctors
Dr. Greg Borlik
Dr. Greg Borlik grew up on the north side of Indianapolis, where he competitively ran cross country and track for North Central High School. Indiana University in Bloomington was his home for four years where he joined the Sigma Chi Fraternity and cheered on the Hoosiers. It is there that Greg obtained degrees in biology, chemistry, and business before moving on to attend veterinary school. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2007 from Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine. Over the years, Dr. Borlik has worked at several veterinary practices and emergency vet hospitals in the greater Indianapolis area, before founding Cottage Animal Clinic of Carmel.
Dr. Borlik’s medical special interests include: surgery, critical care, clinical pathology, diagnostic imaging, dermatology, and dentistry, but his favorite thing of all is meeting new people and educating pet owners.
Dr. Borlik lives with his beautiful wife Amy, his adorable daughter Anna, and his two dogs, Cubby, the Boston Terrier and Vincent, the Bichon Frise. Besides helping people with their pets, he thoroughly enjoys activities such as walking his dogs, running, hiking, camping, playing basketball, watching movies, biking, gardening, cooking, grilling, and attempting to play golf. However, most of his free time away from the hospital is spent trying to keep up with his energetic daughter.
