Doctors
Dr. Richard Feldmann
Dr. Feldmann began practicing in Cincinnati after graduation from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1966. He then spent two years in a large metropolitan hospital in Chicago. He served two years in the US Army before joining the Covington Animal Hospital in 1971. In 1978 he helped build the Crescent Springs Animal Hospital (a branch of the Covington Animal Hospital) which was voted the Hospital of the Year for best design in the country. Dr. Feldmann purchased the hospitals in 1985.
Dr. Feldmann has been past president of Omega Tau Sigma professional veterinary fraternity at Auburn, the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association, and the Northern Kentucky Veterinary Association.
Dr. Feldmann lives with his wife on 26 acres near the hospital. They have 1 dog, 2 cats, 300 goldfish, 4 horses, and 7 miniature donkeys. He enjoys being down on the farm, raising bonsai trees, wood working, and restoring old cars.
Dr. John Weiss
Dr. Weiss has been with the Crescent Springs and Covington Animal Hospitals since 1986. He graduated from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1985. His interests include dermatology, surgery, and internal medicine cases. He is a member of the American, Kentucky, Northern Kentucky, and Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Associations.
Dr. Weiss was raised on a farm near Augusta, Kentucky. He and his wife, Barbara, have three children, two dogs, and three cats. His hobbies include working on the computer, fishing, camping with his family, and relaxing down on the farm.
Dr. Weiss enjoys pet animal practice and meeting and talking to the clients. His favorite part of his work is that there is never a dull moment and no two days are alike. Every day is a new challenge and adventure in veterinary medicine. That's what makes it so rewarding and interesting.
