Doctors
Allison P. Hassinger, DVM
Dr. Hassinger, originally from Raleigh, attended NC State University and graduated in 2005 with a BS in Biological Sciences. She graduated NC State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. Dr. Hassinger practiced for 2 years at a large 5 doctor practice in North Carolina before relocating to Columbia in June 2011. She enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine but especially surgery, emergency medicine, and internal medicine. Dr. Hassinger moved to South Carolina with her husband, Dr. Stanley Hassinger, and their new baby, Mathew. Stanley is an emergency medicine resident at Palmetto Health Richland. Dr. Hassinger would rather be on a sailboat on the water than anywhere else. She also thoroughly enjoys cooking and baking, especially cakes. Dr. Hassinger also enjoys sewing and spending time with her new baby, husband, and four-legged children including 2 busy but lovable dogs, Doc and Abby, and a princess cat, Ruthie.
Dr. Charla Draper
Dr. Draper is a Illinois farm raised Oklahoma State University graduate.
She completed her Veterinarian degree at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Draper has practiced in several states, while her husband ,Bill, completed his veterinary neurology licensing.
Dr. Draper is especially interested in soft tissue surgery, dermatology, ophthalmology, and internal medicine.
When not managing Elam Animal Hospital, she enjoys renovating their new home, horseback riding, traveling and antiquing.
