Doctors
Dr. Ali Shekarchian
Dr. Shekarchian opened Happy Tails Pet Hospital with the focus of offering the community a full service state of the art hospital with the capability of providing specialty services as well so that clients are not referred to so many different hospitals in order to get the proper diagnosis and treatment. His goal is to put the "value" back into pet care and encourage owners to be more involved with their pets' care through education, demonstration, and actually allowing them see any findings he may have encountered in a pet's diagnosis.
Dr. Shekarchian graduated from Tehran University in 2000 and adores his patients and helping the community. Although he enjoys the internal medicine part of his day, his passion is surgery. He is certified in performing TPLO and extracapsular fixation (involving the repair of torn cruciate ligaments in the knee), as well as laparoscopic procedures for spays, neuters, and gastropexy.
In his spare time, Dr. Shekarchian enjoys biking and go-karts with his wife and 2 children. He has a German Shepard and 2 cats at home as well.
