Dr. Farah Ashraf
I have always loved animals! Growing up, my family had a farm in central Virginia with all types of animals including cows, chickens, goats and sheep. At a young age I began volunteering at animal hospitals, and found myself loving the challenges and rewards of small animal veterinary medicine. I studied pre-veterinary medicine at the University of Virginia, and obtained my veterinary degree from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors. Nothing beats a good run or hike with my dog TJ, or just relaxing at the beach with a good book. I also love baking sweet treats and watching college football with my fianc Harris!
My four-legged family members include:
- T.J. (Thomas Jefferson) is a German Shepherd/Collie mix that we rescued from a shelter in Alabama. He is everyones best friend at the dog park, and loves to cuddle on the couch!
- Alfie is a special cat with quite the personality. His favorite pastime is drinking water out of the faucet!
- Boots is our large and in-charge tuxedo cat. He is the oldest of all the animals, and definitely knows hes the boss!
