Dr. Jessica McKenney

Dr. Jessica McKenney

Dr. McKenney graduated from Iowa State Veterinary College in 2002. She has settled in Colorado Springs after having worked several years in Washington State. She is our ultrasound expert. She enjoys hiking in our beautiful mountains with her children Sean and Olivia, husband Todd, and her two dogs Austin and Avery.

Dr. Anne Pierce

Dr. Pierce graduated from Colorado State University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1998 and has been in Colorado Springs ever since. She writes a veterinary column that runs in the Gazette every other Sunday. In her spare time she is either hanging out with her two cats Mr. Echo, and O.B., and her two bratty ferret girls Zing and Quittit, or she is out gardening or whitewater rafting.

She moved to Colorado Springs in the summer of 2009 and has enjoyed meeting the people and pets of the Pikes Peak region. She enjoys hiking, camping, and skiing with her husband Joel and bloodhound mix, Hurley (just the hiking and camping...Hurley doesn't ski!).

Dr. Jeremy Cramer

Dr. Cramer joined High Plains Veterinary Hospital in October 2012. He is a Colorado native who graduated from Oklahoma State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. He is experienced in a multitude of surgical services ranging from orthopedics and soft tissue repair to oncologic and reconstructive surgeries. Dr. Cramer enjoys spending time with his friends and family, camping, sports, flying, and being a progressive ambassador for Christ.

Dr. Matz moved to Colorado Springs in 2011 following graduation from Washington State University. After practicing emergency medicine locally, she joined the High Plains Veterinary team in February 2013. She enjoys triathlons, volunteering internationally, and hiking with her two dogs, great dane and german shepard mixes.
