Bernard M Bleem DVM
Bernard M Bleem DVM, joined the staff at Kruger Animal Hospital 15 years ago. As a 1985 graduate from the University of Illinois , he has enjoyed the progress with innovation in veterinary medicine. Dr Bleem has mixed compassion with years of experience in continuing to provide care for our animal friends that visit Kruger Animal Hospital.
At home he loves his wife Sherry, their five children and their cats and dogs. Dr Bleem's hobbies include Racquet ball, Tae Kwon Do and gardening.
His goal remains to care for our animal friends and the clients and enjoy their relationships.
John Burk, DVM
John Burk, DVM graduated from the University of Illinois in 1999. After graduation he moved to Indianapolis, Indiana where he practiced small animal medicine for eight years, which included three years working at a 24 hour emergency specialty animal hospital.
In August 2007 Dr. Burk and his family moved back to central Illinois to work at Kruger Animal Hospital. He enjoys all aspects of veterinary medicine, especially ophthalmology, emergency medicine and internal medicine.
Outside of work he enjoys spending time with his wife of 13 years, and his two children Gabrielle and Logan. Their family also includes two cats named Forrest and Skippy. Dr. Burk also enjoys reading, swimming, and golfing
