Welcome to Montgomery Animal Hospital. We have been in operation for over 50 years. We are a full-service veterinary hospital and have been certified by the American Animal Hospital Association since 1972.

We pride ourselves on being a friendly practice that provides superior medical care, grooming, and exceptional customer service.

Our employees are caring animal lovers and we strive to treat every animal in the hospital as we treat our own pets at home.

Boarding at our facility is by appointment only, Owners must have written proof showing that their pet's vaccination are current.      Dogs must have current rabies, distemper, influenza and bordetella vaccinations (bordetella must be done within 6 months of boarding date).     Cats must have current rabies and distemper/upper-respiratory vaccinations.

Dr. John Schrader

Dr. John Schrader

Dr. John Schrader graduated with honors from the Veterinary School at Michigan State University in 1977. He received his undergraduate degree, a BA in English, from the University of Michigan in 1968. He has a loving wife, Karen, and two beautiful daughters, Rebecca and Carolyn. Rebecca is a practicing veterinarian in Manhattan, NY and Carolyn works for her father as a veterinary technician. Dr Schrader spent 4 years in the Army where he achieved the rank of Captain, flew helicopters and served one tour of duty in Viet Nam. His hobbies include ham radio (call sign W8FJ), digital photography, and grilling.

Dr. Jeff Luetke

Dr. Jeff Luetke

A native of Pennsylvania, Dr. Jeff Luetke attended LaSalle University and received his Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1997. He went on to veterinary school a the University of Pennsylvania and graduated with his Veterinariae Medicinae Doctoris degree in 2002.

Dr. Jeff Luetke has been practicing veterinary medicine since 2002. His profession interests include surgery, dentistry, and internal medicine. Dr. Luetke is USDA certified and a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association. Dr. Luetke is married to Dr. Nicole Luetke a local family doctor and loves to spend time with his "Daisy", a Greater Swiss Mountain dog.

Outside of work, Dr. Luetke enjoys spending time with his family and exercising.
