Dr. Max Katz

Dr. Max Katz received a Bachelor’s Degree from Georgia State University. After a successful career in the business world, he decided to follow a dream and become a veterinarian. He returned to school and later obtained his DVM degree from the Tuskegee University School of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Katz is an active member of the Georgia Veterinary Medical Association (GVMA) serving on several committees including those involved with emergency disaster management and continuing education planning. He also serves as the Veterinary Consultant to Golden Retriever Rescue of Atlanta and writes a column for the Pyrenean Mastiff Club of America.

Dr. Katz admits that he has a special fondness for the large breed dogs. When not working, Dr Katz enjoys cycling, motor sports, and spending time with his wife, Terri and son, Jamison.
