Petvacx Inc. was founded in 1982 by Drs. Raymond Craft and Deborah Dodson to provide affordable and convenient care to pet owners. Petvacx Inc. is based on the belief that each customers individual needs are of the utmost importance. With all of the options Petvacx Inc. provides, having your pet seen by a veterinarian is easy and convenient. Make an appointment at our Central Hospital Monday - Saturday, go to any of our Weekly Walk in Evening Mobile Van Locations, OR if you would prefer an appointment in your home you can schedule a House Call and one of our doctors and a trained veterinary technician will come to you for your pets appointment.

When Drs. Raymond Craft and Deborah Dodson opened their doors in 1982, their mission was simple: to provide high quality veterinary care at a reasonable cost and give every animal they see the chance to have a happy and healthy life. Whether it's regular check-ups, surgeries, injuries or illness we strive to give you the best service and your pet the best care possible!
Board your pet with us and dogs are walked out doors two to three times a day at no extra charge. We will email you updates and check out our boarding specials.
In addition to our regular mobile schedule, Petvacx makes house calls throughout most of Montgomery County. One of our veterinarians and a trained veterinary technician can come to you and care for your pet in the comfort of your own home. House calls are a great and convenient way to keep your pets up to date on their annual vaccines & wellness exams and other services your pet might require. Our house call service is ideal for multi-pet families or pets that don't travel well.

Dr. Dodson attended the University of Maryland for her undergraduate degree and then graduated from veterinary school at the University of Perugia in Italy after attending for 5 years. Dr. Dodson is married to Dr. Craft and together they both founded and have been operating Petvacx, Inc. since 1982. Dr. Dodson is the proud mother of two intelligent and highly motivated daughters (whom are both following in their mother's footsteps and studying abroad). Dr. Dodson is also the proud pet owner and mom of 3 dogs ("Biscuit", "Brownie" and "Fila") and 2 cats ("Milo" and "Mittens").read more
The son of a sergeant in the Marine Corp. and orphan from the depression, Dr. Craft became the first person in his family to graduate from college. His undergraduate degree was achieved from the University of Maryland in 1970 followed by his veterinary degree which was obtained from the University of Georgia in 1974. Dr. Craft believes he has truly lived out his dreams. He moved back to Maryland in 1977 and worked at the first dedicated animal emergency clinic in the United States at that time located in Rockville, Maryland for 5 years. Dr. Craft married Dr. Dodson in 1982 and togther they founded and operated Petvacx, Inc., the first mobile veterinary clinic of its kind around the country. Seven years later, Petvacx, Inc. expanded by opening its full service hospital. Dr. Craft participated as Board Member of the Montgomery County Humane Society for ten years and has also worked with the Maryland Department of Natural Resources involving injured deer, as well as participating in local government bodies promoting humane handling of animals under government care. Dr. Craft has two wonderful daughters with Dr. Dodson, 5 pets and multiple other blessings he is grateful for.
Dr. Gibson grew up in Indiana, PA. She has her BS in Animal Bioscience from Penn State and DVM from Ohio State University. Dr. Gibson previously practiced in Chattanooga, TN for 11 1/2 years before joining the Petvacx family in 2004. She is owned by a Wolfhound named "Amara" and a Green Wing Macaw named "Homer.read more
