Kimberly A. Caruso, DVM

Kimberly A. Caruso, DVM

Dr. Caruso has been a dedicated veterinarian at Salem Animal Hospital since 1993 and recently has become our Chief of Staff. She grew up in Danvers, Massachusetts, and now resides on Massachusetts' North Shore. Dr. Caruso received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 1989 and her DVM degree from Ohio State University in 1993. She joined us here shortly after graduating from veterinary school and we are so pleased she chose to practice at Salem Animal Hospital.

Dr. Caruso is interested in canine and feline internal medicine and working together with her clients to provide a long lasting, healthy and enjoyable human-pet relationship. In her spare time Dr. Caruso actively competes in dressage, show jumping and combined training. She enjoys agility training with her Jack Russell Terrier. She also likes spending time with her friends, family and pets, which include a Toy Fox Terrier and a Dachshund.

Fredrick T. Rudy, DVM

Fredrick T. Rudy, DVM

Dr. Rudy has been part of the Salem Animal Hospital team since 1975. He received both his undergraduate and DVM degrees from Ohio State University. After graduating from veterinary school Dr. Rudy practiced at veterinary hospitals in Andover, Massachusetts and South Burlington, Vermont, before coming here to Salem Animal Hospital. Thanks to his hard work and dedication, Salem Animal Hospital is able to offer you and your pet both high quality medicine and excellent customer service.

Dr. Rudy focuses on general medicine and truly believes in delivering the best possible care for his clients and their pets. Outside of work Dr. Rudy is deacon at Londonderry Presbyterian Church. He also enjoys spending time with his wonderful wife and two daughters. The Rudy family also consists of three cats.

Roberta Wilson, DVM

Roberta Wilson, DVM

Dr. Wilson joined the staff at Salem Animal Hospital in 2003. She grew up in Newfoundland, Canada, and currently resides in nearby Southern New Hampshire. Dr. Wilson attended Nova Scotia Agricultural College for her undergraduate studies, University of Guelph for her postgraduate degree and Atlantic Veterinary College, University of Price Edward Island for her veterinary studies. After graduating from veterinary school in 1996, Dr. Wilson spent time practicing at various small animal hospitals in New England before joining us here.

Dr. Wilson's medical interests include alternative and Chinese medicine. She also wishes to establish close relationships with her clients and their pets. Outside of work she enjoys gardening, windsurfing, scuba diving and watching her two beautiful daughters grow up! Dr. Wilson also likes spending her free time with her husband Chris, two dogs (Boudro & Zephyr) and cat (Chinouk).

Julia Boyce, DVM

Julia Boyce, DVM

Dr. Boyce started practicing at Salem Animal Hospital in 2008. Growing up in the Cape Cod area, she now resides in Pepperell, Massachusetts. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of New Hampshire in 2004 and undertook her veterinary studies at Atlantic Veterinary College PEI, earning her DVM in May 2008.

Dr. Boyce has special interest in internal medicine, endocrinology, and reproduction. Her interests outside of work include running, enjoying the outdoors, rooting for the Red Sox, and spending time with her husband (they�re newlyweds!), family and friends. She also enjoys playing with her three wonderful pets, two Wheaton Terriers named Redrum and Cricket, and a cat named Fenway!

Jennifer Abraham

Dr. Abraham is the newest addition to the Salem Animal Hospital team, joining us in June 2011. Growing up in upstate New York, she now calls Wakefield, Massachusetts her home. She received her undergraduate degree from Colgate University in 2006 and then completed her veterinary studies at the University of Wisconsin - School of Veterinary Medicine, earning her DVM in 2011. She is very excited to begin her veterinary career and to give the best medical care possible to her clients and the cherished members of their family!

Dr. Abraham has a strong interest in internal medicine and cardiology. Outside of work, she enjoys visiting Boston, traveling, watching professional sports, reading and working out. She is also currently in the process of adopting a dog!
