Services: Orthopedic Surgery, Laser Therapy, as well as Radiology-- We employ state-of-the-art digital radiography in our practice. Radiographs, or X-rays, help our veterinarians evaluate musculoskeletal, oral, cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, reproductive, and urinary systems.

Lisa Evans , V.M.D./Owner
Dr. Lisa Evans received her B.S. in Biology from American University where she played field hockey on scholarship. She then completed graduate work in Reproductive Physiology at University of Maryland. In 1988, she obtained her VMD from the University Of Pennsylvania School Of Veterinary Medicine, fulfilling her lifelong dream of becoming a veterinarian. She built Skippack Animal Hospital, a state of the art award winning hospital in 1994, and just completed building WagMore Next Door, doggy day care, exercise and training facility.
Dr. Evans' professional interests include soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, dermatology, avian and exotic animals, and canine competitive sports such as agility and dock diving.
Lisa currently lives in Worcester with her husband Hansell. Together, they have 3 children: Claudia, Hansi, and Sam. The family is all active participants in triathlon races, as well as biking and skiing. She enjoys taking care of her farm of 2 horses, Lucy the Labrador, Agility Auggie a rescue dog, Moose the cat, and 13 chickens.
Jon Monschein , V.M.D.
Dr. Jon Monschein graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 1986. He built and owned a practice in the Gilbertsville area for 12 years. Jon is now working part-time. His special interests include orthopedic and soft tissue surgery, ophthalmology, and cardiology.
Dr. Monschein and his wife Valerie live with their Labrador Maye and Babe the Chesapeake Retriever. In his free time, he enjoys skydiving and skiing.
Dr. Lynn Platt V.M.D
Dr. Lynn Platt grew up in Lansdale, PA and attended North Penn High School. She received a BS in Animal Bioscience with honors in Dairy Science from the Schreyer's Scholars Program at Pennsylvania State University in 2001. Lynn received her degree in veterinary medicine at the University of Pennsylvania in 2005.
After graduation, she practiced small animal medicine at a large hospital in Bucks County for over 6 years and is excited to have joined the Skippack Animal Hospital staff in October 2012. Her veterinary interests include internal medicine, soft tissue surgery and geriatrics. What Lynn enjoys most about veterinary medicine is interacting with her clients and helping them choose the optimal care plan for each of individual pet’s situation.
Lynn currently lives in Ambler, PA with her husband Brian, children Madilyn and Aaron, and furry “son” Trevor, the Welsh terrier. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, Lynn enjoys road biking and swimming. Lynn is new to the sport of triathlons but is having fun and hoping to catch up with Dr. Evans soon!
