Doctors
Dr. Edward Clausman
Occasionally described as tall, dark and handsome, and occasionally seen at Southdale Pet Hospital, is the owner, Dr Ed Clausman. Born before the war ended, he graduated in 1968 from the Veterinary School at Iowa State University. He has lived in Edina for 43 years and has practiced at Southdale Pet Hospital for 37 years. He loves people, animals, and spending time in the north country. He is blessed with a wonderful wife, two children, and three grandchildren.
Dr. Deborah Adams
Dr. Deborah Adams graduated from the University of Minnesota College of Veterinary Medicine in 1997 and has worked at Southdale Pet Hospital ever since! She has 4 active children; Trip, Henry, Evelyn and Josie, a border terrier named Vinnie and a black lab named Derby. "A couple of cats" rounds out the critters at home! In her sliver of free time she enjoys running, biking, cross-country skiing, cooking, and spending time with friends and family.
Dr. Pete Magnuson
Dr. Peter G. Magnuson (Dr. Pete) grew up in western Minnesota and attended Saint John's University for his undergraduate degree and the University of Minnesota for Veterinary School. Dr. Pete's career began in Western Wisconsin, where he practiced and owned 3 clinics for over 10 years prior to relocating here to work with his classmate, and good friend, Dr. Deb Adams. Dr. Pete is lucky to be surrounded by family and friends, two spaniels (Edison and Greta), and an older cat named Lewis. In his spare time, Dr. Pete enjoys being outside running, biking, working in the yard, fishing, waterskiing, and working on his Old House and delivering Meals on Wheels mostThursdays.
