Dr. Carl Ollila

After graduation in 1968, Dr. Ollila joined a small animal
practice in Kettering. His goal was to open his own small
animal practice as soon as possible. In 1976 he built
the Southside Veterinary Clinic in Centerville. He was
able to establish some of his long time goals such as
spending more time with each patient. Each office visit
at Southside is allotted 30 minutes. This allows us to
fully examine each patient and learn more from the
owner as to any problems or questions and respond with
our recommendations.

Thanks to our separate waiting rooms, our feline
patients who are not used to dogs feel much more
comfortable.

We try to discharge all of our surgeries the same day,
since they recover much nicer at home. In rare
instances, we may need to hospitalize them overnight,
especially if the client wishes them to stay.
