As the Union Pet Clinic grew, additional veterinarians were added. Our modern hospital is staffed with four veterinarians and a full staff of technicians and receptionists. In addition to continuing education and extensive hands on training, our staff shares a genuine compassion for pets.

Doctors
Dr. Stanley Hastings
Dr. Stanley Hastings graduated from Ohio State University of Veterinary Medicine in 1979. After practicing in a mixed practice in Bellefountaine, OH for a year he moved to Arizona and practiced in a small animal group for two years prior to moving to Northern Kentucky. In 1982 Dr. Hastings purchased an existing veterinary clinic from Dr. Bud Waite. He renamed it Erlanger Veterinary Hospital where he has practiced since. He then opened the Union Pet Clinic in July of 1997, where he also practices when he is not at the Erlanger office Dr. Hastings� primary interests in practice are surgery, orthopedics, ophthalmology and dentistry. When not at work he most enjoys taking his dog Maddie fishing and traveling to visit his son in Montana.
Dr. Ashley DeWees
Dr. Ashley Dewees graduated with a Bachelor of Science from Georgetown University and a Doctorate from the Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. She practiced in the Washington, D.C. area before moving to Florida where she practiced for the last 4 years. She is excited to be in the Northern Kentucky/Cincinnati area and to be the newest member of the Erlanger Veterinary Hospital team. Dr. DeWees also enjoys running and cooking in her spare time, as well as spending time with husband, Tom, and pets Mulligan, Herbert, and Moxie.
Dr. Elizabeth Crowder
Dr. Elizabeth Crowder has been working at the Union Pet Clinic since its opening in July of 1997. She has a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture from the University of Kentucky.Then graduated from Auburn University in 1997 with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine. She has been married to her husband, Jerry, since 1994 and has a daughter named McKenzie and the newest member, her son Cody. Her four-legged children include her 3 dogs: Stella, Pickles, and Bear.
Dr. Lee Nancarrow
Dr. Lee Nancarrow received her Bachelors of Art in Biology from Kenyon College and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the Ohio State University. After graduation, she practiced in Chicago for nine years before returning to her home town of Cincinnati. Lee joined the teams at the Erlanger Veterinary Hostpitaland the Union Pet Clinic in 2001. In her spare time, she enjoys skiing, tennis, and spending time with her pets, Suzie and Tarzan.
