Jeff Nightengale, DVM

Dr. Jeff Nightengale attended Oklahoma State University for both undergraduate studies and veterinary medicine graduating in 1989. Upon graduating he started here at VCA Beltline East Animal Hospital as an associate doctor. In 1998 Dr. Nightengale became the medical director for VCA Beltline East Animal Hospital. He is a member of American Animal Hospital Association. His special interests are General Medicine, Emergency Critical Care, and Dentistry. He and his wife share a home with their 3 daughters, 2 dogs, and 1 cat.
Cassandra Erickson, DVM
Associate Veterinarian
School: Western University of Health Sciences
Dr. Cassandra Erickson was born and raised in Plains, Texas. She completed her undergraduate studies at Texas A&M University in 2003 with a bachelor of science in biomedical sciences. She attended Western University of Health Sciences where she attained her doctor of veterinary medicine degree in 2008. Dr. Erickson completed a 1 year internship at VCA Vet Care Animal Hospital and Referral Center in Albuquerque, New Mexico from June 2008 to June 2009. She joined the VCA Beltline East family in late July 2009. Dr. Erickson is a member of the AVMA and VIN. Her special interests are Surgery, Emergency and Critical Care, and Ultrasonography. She shares her home with her husband, daughter, and their 1 dog Riley.
Marta Guevara, DVM

School: Texas A&M University
Dr. Marta Guevara attended Cornell University for her undergraduate studies, and graduated from the college of veterinary medicine at Texas A&M University in 2002. She completed her internship at VCA San Diego, and then joined the VCA Beltline East family in December of 2003. Dr. Guevara is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association, TVMA, and the Veterinary Information Network. Her special interests are General Medicine, and Emergency Critical Care. She shares her home with her husband, son, and her 4 four legged children, 3 dogs, and 1 cat
Paola Lazaretti Lott, DVM

School: University of Sao Paulo (USP)
Dr. Paola Lazaretti Lott was born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, where she attended the Veterinary School at the University of Sao Paulo (USP). She graduated with a degree in Veterinary Medicine in 1996, completed a residency in Small Animal Internal Medicine in 1998, and received her Master�s Degree in Small Animal Internal Medicine (with an emphasis on canine kidney disease) in 2000. She began a successful practice in Sao Paulo, which she left in 2003 to study kidney disease with Dr. George Lees at Texas A&M University. Dr. Lott moved to Dallas in 2007, where she got married (to a Texan!), received her Veterinary License to practice in the U.S., and joined the VCA Beltline East team (in April 2009). Her special interests include General Medicine, Emergency Critical Care, and Nephrology. She and her husband, live in Dallas with their two sons, two dogs, and a cat.
