George Tabone
Medical Director
DVM, Texas A&M University

Dr. Tabone grew up in Desoto and graduated from Desoto High School in 1983. Beginning in 1981, he worked for Desoto Animal Hospital throughout high school and during college breaks. Dr. Tabone is a 1993 graduate of the Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine. Upon graduation, he worked at Desoto Animal Hospital as an associate veterinarian until 1998. In 1998, Dr. Tabone was named medical director and serves in that position currently. Dr. Tabone is happily married and has a 15 year old daughter. The Tabone family also includes 2 Labradors, Chestnut and Ethel, a Chihuahua named Belle and several fish
Erika Bollin
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, University of Missouri
Dr. Bollin was born and raised in Independence, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City. After high school, she first attended Kansas State University for undergraduate training. She transferred to the University of Missouri to attend veterinary school. Following graduation in 2006, she relocated to Desoto, TX to begin work at VCA Desoto.
Currently, Dr. Bollin lives in Irving wtih her two dogs, Logan, a Labrador Retriever and Tish, a German Shepherd.
Victoria Martinez
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, Iowa State University
BA, Music Education
Dr. Martinez grew up in rural NW Iowa around animals, and outdoor sports. She obtained an A.A. from Ambassador University before tansferring to Azusa Pacific University in CA., being awarded a music scholarship for French Horn. Deciding she really wanted to be a veterinarian, she and her husband moved back to Iowa where she concentrated on small animal medicine. Following graduation in 2006, the Martinez family moved to Spokane, Washington where she worked at another VCA facility for 2 years. In September of 2008, the Martinez family moved cross-country again, to Desoto. The whole family is enjoying Texas! Her family includes a 5 year old daughter and 1 year old son. The furry members are; Tigger, an 8 year old brown tabby, Phoebus, a 6 year old orange tabby, and Ariel, a 2 year old dilute torti. Maggie, the beloved 10 year old English cocker mix, passed away just before the family moved to Texas.
