Dr. Amanda Perry

Dr. Amanda Perry

Dr. Perry grew up in San Diego and graduated from Vahalla High School. Much of her time growing up was spent riding horses and playing with barn dogs and cats. She decided to pursue veterinary medicine, and attended San Diego State University during her undergraduate years. After graduating from UC Davis in 1994, she got a wide range of experience from mixed animal practice in the Imperial Valley, to small animal medicine in Oklahoma, before settling back in San Diego in 1998. She still enjoys riding her horse, which she trains in dressage and hanging out in the barn with her dogs and cats.

Dr. Lance Gibson

Dr. Lance Gibson

Dr. Gibson has been drawn to animals earlier than he can remember. As a child, he was responsible for the caretaking of dogs, cats, ducks, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs. When he was 9 years old, he knew he would become a veterinarian to help heal sick pets and keep healthy pets well. Dr. Gibson is a second generation native San Diegan and attended El Capitan High School. He attended San Diego State University receiving a Bachelors of Science degree in Biology. He attended veterinary school at Oklahoma State University and graduated in 1998. Dr. Gibson returned to his hometown of San Diego to practice veterinary medicine. His hobbies include music, playing the guitar, desert trips to ride ATV's, hiking, camping and fish keeping. He is owned by his cat, Petunia.

Dr. Corinne Mellien

Dr. Mellien grew up in San Diego and attended Patrick Henry High School. She then went to San Diego State University before going on to UC Davis where she received her veterinary degree in 1994 with a focus on dogs, cats and horses. She has always loved animals and had a menagerie of pets growing up and decided she wanted to be a veterinarian while still in elementary school. She worked as an assistant at VCA Grossmont Animal Hospital for several years prior to vet school and then returned to work here as a doctor after graduation. She lives in La Mesa with her family and pets.
