Doctors
Dr. Dorairaj-Camacho
Dr. Dorairaj-Camacho was born in Malaysia while her parents were on vacation. She returned to the U.S. 4 months later and was raised in Los Angeles. She received her undergraduate degree from UC Davis and graduated from UC Davis' Veterinary School in 2000. She began her professional career with VCA and has stayed with them ever since. Dr. DC is an avid baker and although she is totally devoted to her medical career, her secret passion is to own her own bakery. She loves to create new recipes, which her hospital staff really enjoys! She lives with her husband, also a VCA Veterinarian, and her two small boys. Her baby girl, Kyla, a rescue pup, also resides with her.
Dr. Jin
Dr. Jin grew up in Southern California. She attended UCLA and majored in music as a classical flutist. Upon completion, she went to Ohio, where she attended the University of Cincinnati, College-conservatory of Music for a Master's degree in Music Performance. She then realized her strong passion for animals and medicine, and decided to become a Veterinarian. Dr. Jin attended UC Davis, School of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, she completed an internship program where she was further trained in specialties including neurology, surgery, oncology, critical care/emergency, and internal medicine. She has a special interest in neurology and internal medicine. Dr. Jin has been a member of the VCA family since September 2009 when she first began at VCA Acaccia. We are happy to have her as a part of VCA La Mirada.
In her free time, Dr Jin enjoys eating, running, and spending time with her husband, family, and friends, as well as her dogs "Banana", "Booberry", and the most recent addition..."Petey".
