Doctors
Brian Brumfield
Medical Director
DVM, Purdue University
Dr. Brumfield was born and raised in Evansville, Indiana, and now resides in Chicago with his English Setter, Gracie and cat Jeter. He earned his bachelors degree in Biology from Ball State University in 2004. From there Dr. Brumfield went on to Purdue University where he earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2008.
Dr. Brumfield worked for a year and a half at a small hospital in Skokie, Illinois before joining our team at VCA Lake Shore in September of 2009. In his spare time he enjoys fishing, bird hunting with Gracie, spending time with friends, and trying new restaurants in Chicago.
David M. Diaz
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, Purdue University
Veterinary Medicine
Dr. David M. Diaz has been part of VCA Lake Shore since 1997 after finishing his education at Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN. Originally from Puerto Rico, he is bilingual in Spanish and English. He has four pets, two dogs, and two cats: Corbin, Owen, Oscar, and Per.
Marcy Milkowski
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Milkowski was very excited to join VCA Lake Shore Animal Hospital in 2008. A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, she pursued her interests in small animal, zoo and aquatic animal medicine during her clinincal year spent at the University of Florida-Gainesville. She graduated from the University of California-Berkerley in 2003 with a degree in Molecular and Enviromental Biology. In her spare time, Dr. Milkowski enjoys dancing, traveling and spending time with her dog, Roundabout and her two cats, Samosa and Ting.
Stacey R. Daley
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, University of Florida
Veterinary Medicine
Dr. Stacey Daley arrived at VCA Lake Shore in 2004 from the University of Florida, College of Veterinary Medicine. She has proven to be a great asset to VCA Lake Shore. She recently traveled to El Salvador, where she spent time as a volunteer for Vets Beyond Borders. She loves cooking, triathlons, her very large dog Boomer, and traveling.
