Melissa Beck
Medical Director
DVM, Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine
A graduate of Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Beck did her clinical rotations at the University Of Illinois. She has been practicing at VCA Lewelling Animal since 2004. She has a special interest in Emergency Medicine, Internal Medicine and Dermatlogy. Dr. Beck lives in the same the community where she practices. She has two daughters, an 8 month old and a 3 1/2 year old. She also has 3 rescued pets: a poodle mix, a German Sheperd and a cat from the island of St. Kitts.
Jasmine Morris
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, Oregon State University
Dr. Morris is a San Francisco Bay Area native, who recieved her BS from San Francisco State University and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Oregon State University. She has been an Associate Veterinarian at VCA Lewelling since 2007. She enjoys internal medicine, behavior and dermatology. Dr. Morris also enjoys sightseeing and spending time with her husband and her three children. Her family also includes two rescued cats. Legolas ( a three-legged Manx), Mischief (Cornish Rex), Wilbur (French Bulldog), as well as a Columbian Tegu, a Blue-Tongue Skink, Crested Gecko and a Ball Python.
Vanessa Reeves
Associate Veterinarian
DVM, University of California, Davis
Dr. Reeves is originally from Southern California and received her B.A. from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts and later graduated from the University Of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine.
Dr. Reeves joined VCA Lewelling Animal Hospital in September 2011 after completing a one year rotating internship at VCA San Francisco Veterinary Specialists. Her special interests include oncology and ophthalmology.
In her spare time, she enjoys cooking new recipes, running/hiking, and exploring the Bay Area. She lives in Oakland with her two adopted cats Rudy and Maurice.
