Dr. Tod Beckett has been practicing small animal Critical Care and Emergency Medicine for over 15 years. Dr. Beckett founded and started the first Columbus area Animal Care Center with father CR Beckett, DVM, which then became VCA Mill Run and Sawmill Animal Hospitals in 2006. Tod received his B.A. in Biology from Denison University in 1984 and his DVM from Ohio State University in 1989. Dr. Beckett has attended many ASIF bone courses and ACVS surgeons meetings as well as the 2000 Surgical Fixation of Fractures Conference. Dr. Beckett's goal is to bring the level of medicine and surgical skills to our practice that is usually only found in referral or critical care hospitals. During his time away from the hospital he enjoys spending time with his wife Mary, their daughter Peyton Maxine, and his sons Travis and Ben. He also enjoys golfing and shooting some hoops with his boys.
School: Ohio State University
Dr. Randy Lenhart has been with VCA Mill Run since October, 2003 after practicing at the Sawmill location since January, 2002. Dr. Lenhart received his Bachelor of Science in Animal Science from Ohio State in 1995. He later received his DVM from Ohio State in 1999 Dr. Lenhart worked at a small animal practice in his hometown of Marietta, Ohio for 1 1/2 years. When not at the clinic, he enjoys music, movies and spending time with friends, family and his beagle-mix named Buddy.
School: Michigan State University
Dr. Susan Crisp is a board certified small animal internal medicine specialist. Dr. Crisp graduated from Michigan State University College of Veterinary Medicine; she did a small animal internship at Purdue University and completed a small animal internal medicine residency at The Ohio State University. Dr Crisp is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine, and has over 20 years of experience as an internal medicine specialist.
School: Cornell University
Dr. Deal obtained her DVM from Cornell University in 2003. She then completed an internship in small animal medicine, surgery, and emergency medicine at a large emergency/referral hospital in Rhode Island. She has been working at VCA Mill Run since 2005.
