Doctors
Dr. Melchus Davis Jr.
Dr. Melchus Davis Jr. currently works as a veterinarian and the medical director of VCA North Rockville Animal Hospital, in Rockville, Maryland. He has 14 years experience in the field of veterinary medicine as a small animal practitioner, working predominantly with dogs and cats. Dr. Davis is a native Washingtonian, having earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Howard University in Washington D.C. and his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville. He currently practices small animal medicine with key interest in soft tissue surgery, radiology, and dentistry. He enjoys being a veterinarian because it allows him to work with both people and animals in a team oriented way to provide client education and a preventative approach of wellness to his patients. He is dedicated to being up-to-date with the development of veterinary medicine on a local and national level and he has earned a reputation few can equal. Dr. Davis resides in Woodstock Maryland with his wife Karen, their son Ryan and their two pugs Indy and Batman. When Dr. Davis is not working, he enjoys watching the Washington Redskins, scenario paintball, video games and spending quality time with his family.
Dr. Lindsey Anderson
Dr. Anderson came to the Washington Metro area from the Deep South of Mississippi, and she is really enjoying it here! It never occured to her that she would become anything other than a veterinarian, having always had animals as members of the family and a strong interest in science. She earned a Bachelors of Science in Wildlife Science with minors in Biology See More and Microbiology at Mississippi State University (Go Bulldogs!) before entering their College of Veterinary Medicine. She currently practices small animal medicine (cats and dogs) with special interests in surgery, behavior, and internal medicine. Her personal goal is to use her skills and knowledge to keep pets happy, healthy, and harmonious in their family.
