Kristen Pikul, DVM
Medical Director
School: Michigan State University
Dr. Pikul joined our staff October 2011, transferring from VCA West End in the Short Pump area of Richmond. She has been with VCA since 2008. Dr. Pikul graduated from Michigan State University in 1997 with a B.S. in Zoology and continued at Michigan State until 2001 when shee received her DVM degree. Currently, Dr. Pikul has one dog, Pooch, who is a 14 yr old Cocker Spaniel. Pooch has been with Dr. Pikul since her vet school days. He has been called "mamma's boy" by some, because he is spoiled rotten. He is now blind, and selectively deaf, and would tell you that he needs another treat. Dr. Pikul is active in her church and enjoys community service projects, helping in the church nursery, and of course, fellowship. She is recently engaged and is planning a summer wedding this year. Dr. Pikul is pleased to be part of the staff here at VCA Pets First and looks forward to getting to know you and your family.
