Dr. Charles Patterson

Dr. Charles Patterson

Originally from Wooster, Ohio, Dr. Patterson earned his DVM in 1975 from Ohio State University. During his education, he worked at the Vector Borne Disease Unit at the Ohio Department of Health. In 1976, following a 1 year internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Dr. Patterson became an associate veterinarian at Roberts. Over the years, Dr. Patterson has developed an interest and expertise in surgical medicine and has been the primary surgeon at VCA Roberts since about 1998. More recently, he has taken on a new role as Co-Medical Director of the practice.
Dr. Patterson and his wife CJ have two grown children. He has many outside interests that include gardening, woodworking, bird watching, cosmology, particle physics, and low scale inventing.

Dr. Mary Reynolds Callahan

Dr. Mary Reynolds Callahan

Dr. Mary Reynolds Callahan is a 1988 graduate of Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She has been in clinical practice at VCA Roberts Animal Hospital in Hanover since August of 1988. Dr. Reynolds Callahan has recently taken on a new role as Co-Medical Director of the practice. Her professional interests include wellness, preventive health care (vaccines, nutrition and dental health care) and geriatric medicine. She routinely sees general clinic appointments 3-4 days per week and has one general surgery day per week that includes procedures such as spays, neuters, abdominal exploratories, tumor removals, and dental procedures.
Dr. Reynolds Callahan lives in Scituate with her husband, Kevin, two dogs and three cats. Dr. Reynolds Callahan is a native of Maine and maintains a family home on an island there. Her interests include boating, reading, and hiking with her dogs at local parks and trails. Above all else, she enjoys spending time with her family and is her grandsons� biggest fan at all their local sporting events!

Dr. Brad Moses

Dr. Brad Moses

Dr. Moses graduated from the Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1973. He completed his internship at South Shore Veterinary Associates, and he fulfilled credentialing requirements for board certification in cardiology with training assisted by Angell Memorial Animal Hospital and Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. In 1987, Dr. Moses became board certified in cardiology by the American College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Moses is staffed at VCA Roberts Animal Hospital in Hanover and VCA South Shore Animal Hospital in South Weymouth.

Dr. Joseph Martinez

Dr. Joseph Martinez

Dr. Martinez graduated in 1997 from the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences at Colorado State University. In 1998 he completed an internship at Garden State Veterinary Specialist in New Jersey and then followed that with several years in private practice in the New England area. In 2002, while recovering from his third open heart surgery for a congenital heart defect, he studied Perfusion Technology at Northeastern University and Brigham and Women�s Hospital. From 2003 to 2006 he served in a Fellowship in Cardiac Surgery at Children�s Hospital Boston, and held an appointment as instructor in the Departments of Surgery and Pediatrics at Harvard Medical School. Prior to joining Robert�s Animal Hospital in 2007, Dr. Martinez completed one year of a residency in Cardiology at Angell Animal Medical Center. Dr. Martinez hails from Boston, but considers Colorado, where he spent many of his formative years, his second home. He currently resides in Boston with his lovely bride Wendy. They have a beautiful little boy, five cats, Harley a retriever, a fish tank, and an imaginary monster in their bomb shelter named Randall. All of his spare time is spent with his family enjoying the great wealth of riches that life has to offer. He also enjoys cycling, fine dining, building Lego sets, is a bit of a coffee connoisseur, and hopes to rediscover the joys of home beer brewing.

Special Interest:
His professional interests include cardiology, emergency medicine and critical care. He has special training, experience, and a strong interest in thoracoscopy, a minimally invasive technique to perform thoracic procedures, such as partial pericardiectomy and thoracic biopsies.

Dr. Mary  W. Clark

Dr. Mary W. Clark

Dr. Clark earned an undergraduate degree in Natural Environmental
Science from Mary Washington College in Fredericksburg, VA in 2004.
She when on to study Small Animal Medicine at the University of
Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine and has been an Associate
Veterinarian at VCA Roberts since July of 2008.

Dr. Clark is originally from the beautiful pacific island of Guam
(U.S. Territory) and tries to visit her family there as often as
possible. She enjoys volunteering at the Quincy Animal Shelter, zumba
fitness, human psychology, hiking, travelling, cooking, reading and
sky-diving and lives with her two cats Figaro and Tilly-monster.

Dr. Maria Tehrany

Dr. Tehrany graduated with a MS in Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences from Texas A&M University in 1999, then continued on to earn her DVM from the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University in 2004. After practicing veterinary medicine in Texas and in Oregon, Dr. Tehrany joined the team at Roberts Animal Hospital in the summer of 2008. She is originally from Hanover and is happy to be back home in Massachusetts. She lives with her husband, 3 children and cat, Cleo, and hopes to add some rabbits, a Border Collie and chickens in the spring. Dr. Tehrany enjoys practicing a mix of general and emergency veterinary medicine

Dr. Pamela Martin

Dr. Martin went to UMass Dartmouth for undergrad and graduated with a bachelor's degree in biology. Then she went on to Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2003. She completed a one-year internship at VCA South Shore AH after graduating in 2003. She has been employed by RAH since 2004. Dr. Martin especially likes treating dermatology and general medicine cases.

Dr. Laura Fong

Dr. Laura Fong graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine and joined the staff at Roberts Animal Hospital in 1990. After ten years of practice, she took time off to raise a family. She presently works part-time in the Wellness Clinic and enjoys spending family time with her three children and husband.

Dr. Lauren Borofsky

Dr. Lauren Borofsky

After graduating from Ross University in 2007, Dr. Borofsky completed a one year internship at the VCA South Shore Animal Hospital, and then became Medical Director and primary vet at the VCA Animal Care Center in Marshfield.
As of May 2011, Dr. Borofsky has joined the Roberts family and we are thrilled to have her and look forward to meeting the many longtime ACCM clients that have decided to join our family as well.
Dr. Borofsky's interests and talents include general and preventative care and client education.
