Doctors

Patricia Lyon

Medical Director
DVM, Washington State University

Dr Patricia Lyon grew up all over the United States until settling in Washington State as a young adult. Since then she has lived in the state except for her first veterinarian job in Brookville, Pennsylvania. While becoming a veterinarian was always her first desire, she has also had a variety of work experience including jobs working as office workers,
computer programmer, teacher, and social worker. Being able to obtain her veterinary degree in 2003 was a dream come true and she loves her work with people and their pets. As you may have guessed, Dr Lyon also loves to travel and has been able to visit all 50 United States and many foreign
countries. Most of her vacations are spent working as an international veterinary volunteer with Christian Veterinary Mission. Some of her experiences have taken her to countries like Haiti, Nicaragua, Bolivia,
Brazil, Uganda, Kenya, Tanzania and Zanzibar, Djibouti, Mongolia, Cambodia,
and Kashmir India. In her spare time she also pursues hobbies including photography, bridge, and quilting. Dr. Lyon lives in Richland with her husband Jim and four rescue kitties: Cocoa, Mocha, Decaf, and Java Joe.
