We strive to prevent illness whenever possible. The time and effort invested in Wellness programs has rewards for both pets and owners. Our Wellness programs are designed specifically for your pet and include: Comprehensive physical exam; internal parasite testing; heartworm and flea control; vaccination program; spay and neuter package; and specialized blood tests for all life stages. Ask about our Puppy and Kitten Packages, and our Bonus Years package for pets 7 and older.

Doctors
Dr. Kathryn Carlson , DVM
Dr. Carlson graduated from UC Davis in 1991. She has practiced in this area for over 15 years and has owned Village Park Animal Hospital since 1998. Dr. Carlson has a special interest in small animal dentistry and physical rehabilitation and arthritis treatment for animals. In her very limited spare time, she likes to relax at home, ride her horses and help her Dad with Paws & Reflect. She also enjoys attending to her large collection of dogs and cats, including two Jack Russells, Jesse James and Pumpkin Pie, who can be seen managing the staff at the hospital most days. Dr. Carlson is happily married to her husband Brian and has two step-daughters, Briyona and Brittany.
Laurel Harms , DVM
Dr. Laurel Harms, DVM, graduated from NY State College of Veterinary Medicine at Cornell. After graduation, she returned home to upstate New York near Saratoga to practice large and small animal medicine at her father's practice. She and her husband Brian, a geothermal engineer, have worked in Arizona and Northern California, and have maintained a home in La Quinta for the past five years. They love the weather, cycling and hiking that La Quinta provides. They have two sons who have recently started their own careers in Atlanta, GA and Albany, NY. Dr. Harms has a special interest in small animal dermatology. She holds veterinary licenses in CA, NY, NJ, AZ, MA, VA and HI.
Dr. Allison Bradshaw , DVM
Dr. Allison Bradshaw is a native of Kansas. Veterinary medicine combines her passion for science and medicine with her love for animals and working with people.
She attended Kansas State University and received her Bachelor's Degree in Biology in 1995. She continued her veterinary education at the Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. Following graduation, she worked in sunny Southern California at several busy veterinary practices and developed particular interests in dermatology and dentistry.
