Doctors
Dr. Jack Heller DVM
Dr. Jack Heller is the new owner of the Westhampton Beach Animal Hospital. He graduated from Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. He completed an internship in Small Animal Medicine and Surgery at the University of Missouri School of Veterinary Medicine in 1997. Dr. Heller has been practicing in Suffolk County for the last 14 years.
He grew up in Greenlawn. Dr. Heller has a wonderful wife, Stacy, and they have two children, Matthew and Madeline. They have 3 dogs, 3 cats, and a bunny. Jack and Stacy have always enjoyed the East End of Long Island. They look forward to being part of the Westhampton Beach community.
Dr. Stacey A. Reis
Dr. Stacey A. Ries attended Cornell University, where she earned a Bachelor of Science in animal science in 1991 and her doctorate from the College of Veterinary Medicine in 1995. Originally from northern New York State, Dr. Ries has been practicing on Long Island since 1998. While the focus of her career has been providing exceptional patient and client care in general small animal practice, she has also worked in emergency/critical care settings and was a veterinarian at Detroit�s Michigan Humane Society.
Dr. Ries had the privilege of working alongside Dr. Heller as a fellow associate in a Huntington practice for 8 years and is pleased to have been invited to become a part of his Westhampton Beach team.
Dr. Ries is currently �co-owned� by a beagle mutt named Thelma, two guinea pigs and a hamster. Personal interests include gardening, alpine mountaineering, running and ice climbing.
