Animal Care Clinic North is a six veterinarian, 5,400 sq. ft. animal hospital located in Elkhart, Indiana. We are a full service animal clinic devoted to the prevention and treatment of diseases of dogs, cats, rabbits and pocket pets. Our goal is to provide quality veterinary care throughout the life of your pet.

We understand and appreciate the special role your pet plays in your family; we treat your pet as we would our own. Our staff is committed to providing personal attention to the unique concerns of each individual pet owner. We have been a member of the American Animal Hospital Association since we opened on September 4, 1973.

Jennifer Ellis, DVM

I have been working at Animal Care Clinic North since June 1998 after I graduated from Michigan State�s College of Veterinary Medicine. I have a special interest in orthopedic surgery. I treat dogs and cats as well as ferrets. I enjoy softball, hiking, volleyball, kayaking, skiing & gardening. I volunteer with an animal rescue organization that specializes in technical small and large animal rescue.

I joined the staff at Animal Care Clinic in May 2014. I graduated from Purdue University's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2005 and have practiced small animal and exotic medicine within the Elkhart and St. Joseph County areas. My special interests include cardiology, ophthalmology, and behavioral medicine. Outside of the clinic, I enjoy spending time with my daughter and being outdoors.
