ABOUT YOUR BABY'S DOCTOR...
"Every pet deserves a healthy life. My goal is to reach out into the community and educate pet owners on how to provide optimal health care to their pets. I want you to know that I am here when you and your pet need me."

A CORNERSTONE IN EDUCATION
"This is the atmosphere I feel my patients thrive in. Some of my patients are nervous when they arrive. I know how they feel, because I'm nervous when I visit my doctor. So providing them with all the love and gentle care they need helps to make their visit a positive experience for all involved. This makes my years of education all the more worthwhile."

ABOUT YOUR BABY'S DOCTOR...
"I love being a veterinarian and I am grateful every day that I have to opportunity to help animals and people.”

A CORNERSTONE IN EDUCATION
I graduated from Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine. I had lived in Mississippi for most of my life before moving to FL but I love Florida and I am happy to live on the beautiful Gulf Coast.

CRAZY ABOUT CATS
I have additional training and a special interest in feline medicine. I love working with local rescue organizations, and I am passionate about fostering kittens. Watching them grown into healthy, socialized, adoptable kittens continually reminds me that each pet (especially cats!) is different with his/her own personality and healthcare needs.

PROVIDING MORE FOR PETS
Each pet, dog or cat, is unique; and I believe considering multiple options for treatment is important. Here, pets have access to a wide variety of diagnostic tests, treatment options, and services to keep them happy and healthy. I am excited to be a part of the team here at the Animal Hospital of Dunedin!

ABOUT YOUR BABY'S DOCTOR...
"I was born and raised in Auburn, Alabama & grew up always wanting to attend veterinary school like my Grandfather. I have been working in a small animal practice in Florida for almost a decade and I love the Dunedin area. My strong desire to practice a high quality of medicine and client communication has brought me to the Animal Hospital of Dunedin, where I have been since 2008. Believing in and having a deep respect for the bond shared between a person and their pet, I strive to provide a compassionate approach and treatment plan best tailored to you and your pets needs."

BUILDING A FOUNDATION
"Wellness care is something I feel strongly about because of its importance not only in prevention of certain diseases, but also in early detection of some medical conditions. Therefore I adamantly encourage proper vaccination of all puppies and kittens, routine spaying and neutering, regular wellness exams, and a proper healthy diet."

Dr. Jacqui Olson
Dr. Jacqui Olson

Dr. Jacqui Olson is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at the Animal Hospital of Dunedin. Dr. Olson earned her undergraduate degree at the University of Florida in 2011, graduated with her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from University of Florida in 2015, and is currently enrolled in the Chi Institute for her Masters of Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Olson is certified in Veterinary Acupuncture, Canine Rehabilitation Therapy, Veterinary Tui-Na and Veterinary Food Therapy. Her areas of professional interest include Traditional Chinese Veterinary medicine, rehabilitation, and geriatric medicine.

Inspired to work in the veterinary field by her sister-in-law who is also a veterinarian, she thinks the best part of working in the veterinary field is getting to be a part of a pet’s extended family and watch them grow throughout the years.

Originally from Indian Rocks Beach, she grew up in Belleair Beach and currently resides there with her husband, Nick, and son, Caleb. Dr. Olson also cares for her two dogs, two cats, and a horse. A fun fact about Dr. Olson is that veterinary medicine runs in her family, as she is one of four veterinarians in her immediate family!
