Growing up, Dr. Todd’s family moved every year. In each town he lived, he noticed there was a veterinarian that the community liked and trusted. After seeing the bond with veterinarians and their patients, Dr. Todd was inspired to become a part of the community to help and care for animals.
Originally from South Carolina, Dr. Todd moved to Florida and currently resides there with his wife, Laura, and two children, Becky and Ben.

Animal Hospital of Dunedin is lucky to have Dr. Wade Matthews’ highly-trained expertise. With over 25 years experience, Dr. Matthews' favorite part of working in the veterinary field is the rewarding feeling after finding solutions for patients who cannot speak. Growing up, his passion of raising bird dogs and hunting inspired him to become a veterinarian. Dr. Matthews completed his undergraduate degree at University of Florida in 1979, and went on to earn his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from University of Florida Animal Science in 1984.
Dr. Matthews was born in in Jacksonville, FL and currently resides in Palm Harbor, FL with his wife and four children. He currently doesn’t have any pets but has a soft spot for Yorkies and spends his free time playing guitar and listening to his favorite band, Alice Cooper. When he’s not at the animal hospital, you can find Dr. Matthews volunteering his free time at a non-abortive pregnancy center, mentoring and teaching parenting classes.

Dr. Woodley graduated Summa Cum Laude for both degrees. Her favorite part of working in the veterinary field is the relationships she has formed overtime with pets and their owners.
