We provide state of the art veterinary services for your pets. Our convenient hours of Monday-Friday, 7 to 8pm and Saturday-Sunday, 8 to 6pm make is easy to bring in your pets without delay.
Dr. Sherrell was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Dr. Sherrell received his Bachelor of Zoology and Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Oklahoma State University. He joined Arrow Animal Hospital in 1986 and became a partner in 1991. Dr. Sherrell has special interests in surgery, ultrasound, dentistry and reproduction. He was nominated by his peers and received the "Companion Animal Practitioner of the Year" award presented by the Arizona Veterinary Medical Association, in 1999.

Dr. Willms was born and raised in Spokane, Washington. His training includes a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science from Eastern Washington University. Dr. Willms was a fish and wildlife biologist for the state of Washington for seven years prior to attending veterinary school. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. Dr. Willms joined Arrow Animal Hospital in June of 2000 and became a partner in 2006.
"I enjoy spending my free time with family and friends. My hobbies include travel, fitness and outdoor activities. It has been my pleasure to be part of the Arrow family. I enjoy working with our amazing clients and their pets. While I enjoy all aspects of veterinary medicine, I particularly enjoy surgery, dentistry and preventative medicine."
Dr. Payton was born and raised in Alaska. She received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Alaska, Fairbanks and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. She joined Arrow Group in 2006 working at one of our sister hospitals before coming to Arrow Animal Hospital in 2008. She became a partner in 2012. Her interests include surgery, emergency medicine, dentistry and grief counseling.
"A semester in Australia thoroughly thawed me out and made me forever appreciative of sandy beaches and cheerful Aussies. Moving to Arizona is the fulfillment of a childhood dream to live near the cacti and grandma and grandpa. I share my home with five dogs: Pharoah, Ramsey, Sasha, Sidney, and Skittles. I, their adoring owner, enjoy playing with them, watching movies, hiking, camping and driving. I thoroughly enjoy working with the dynamic staff, amazing doctors and wonderful clients here at Arrow Animal Hospital."
Dr. Jenkins is an Arizona native. She worked at Arrow Animal Hospital throughout high school as a kennel assistant and then over the summers while in college as a veterinary technician. She attended Colorado State University for her undergraduate studies and veterinary school. She received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2004 and then practiced on the Oregon Coast for three years. Dr. Jenkins returned to Arizona to re-join Arrow Animal Hospital in 2007 and became a partner in 2012. Her interests include, but are not limited to, dermatology, behavior and surgery.
"I enjoy spending time with my friends and family. In my free time, I travel and scrap book. My husband Josh and I share our home with our wonderful dogs, Sam and Maynard. I am so happy to be back with my Arrow family where I started. I look forward to getting to know you and your pets."
Dr. Jordan was born on an Air Force base in Hahn, Germany. She lived in North Dakota, California, and southwest Washington before settling in Spokane, Washington as a teenager. She received a Bachelor's Degree in Zoology (Pre-Vet) with a minor in Psychology from Washington State University in 2008, and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine also from Washington State University in 2014. She moved to Arizona and joined the amazing team at Arrow Animal Hospital shortly after graduation. Her professional interests include feline medicine, preventative care and wellness, surgery, internal medicine, and dentistry.
In her free time, Dr. Jordan enjoys music and concert-going, dancing, hiking, rock climbing, graphic design, traveling, and rooting for her football team - the Seattle Seahawks! A total cat lover, Dr. Jordan shares her home with her fluffy Ragdoll kitten - Patches. She thrives on building relationships with clients and their furry families, and looks forward to meeting you and yours!
I was raised in Southern California, and attended Ross University. I began my work in the Veterinary field as a Veterinary Technologist at a low-cost non-profit clinic. Today, I am a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine, and I couldn�t be happier with my career choice!
Preventing health problems is a very important part of healthcare in animals and in people. I take special interest in the areas of preventive medicine, dental health and nutrition � the foundation of keeping pets (and pet parents) healthier and happier at every stage of their lives.
I have two pets to keep me on my toes � a lovable Labrador mix named Pickles, and a Poodle mix named Molly. My hobbies include taking time to enjoy my family and friends, traveling, as well as running and strength training. I�m proud to be a part of the AZ Pet Vet family, and I look forward to meeting you and your pets soon!
I was born and raised on Long Island, New York. I completed my Bachelors of Biology at Northeastern University in Boston, and then headed back to New York for my veterinary degree at Cornell University. Professionally, I enjoy surgery, imaging, internal medicine, and exotic and aquatic animal medicine. Outside of work, I love spending time outdoors, traveling, figure skating, and baking. I was born in Buffalo, New York, and grew up in California, so I guess you could call me a true bi-coastal baby! In 1996, I moved to Arizona in order to study Agribusiness at Arizona State, graduating in 1999. While studying at Arizona State University, I began volunteering at the Arizona Humane Society and a local Emergency Animal Clinic. In 1997, I became a Veterinary Nurse at the emergency clinic. In 1998, I started working as a Vet Tech at AZ Pet Vet Bell Ridge Animal Hospital. It was my first experience in the AZ Pet Vet family � but not my last! In 2000, I went back to school to study Veterinary Medicine at Colorado State University, ad received my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine in 2004.
Today, I am proud to be a part of the AZ Pet Vet family again. My special interests in the Vet field include Dentistry, Dermatology and Ophthalmology, and laser surgeries.
Life at home includes my husband Derek, daughters Ashley and Tiffany, plus my mother Debbi. We have two pets � an 11-year-old Rhodesian Ridgeback/Australian Cattle Dog mix, and a 14-year-old Flame Point Ragdoll cat. My hobbies include reading, photography, scrapbooking, church, cooking and riding bikes.
I was born and raised in Muscatine, Iowa. I did my both undergraduate and post-graduate degrees at Iowa State University, graduating in 2017, so I'm a brand new Doctor of Veterinary Medicine!
The areas of vet medicine that interest me the most right now are surgery (orthopedics, to be specific), Internal Medicine and Ophthalmology. Arizona Pet Vet is the perfect place for me, because we have such a culture of learning and mentorship. I plan on soaking up everything I can from the doctors and staff.
I live with my fiance Brett, and we have an enormous pup named Cujo. He's actually four, so he's not quite a puppy these days. Don't let the name fool you; he's an adorable mix of Bull Mastiff and Labrador Retriever and full of love and slobbery kisses. My hobbies include hiking, biking and all things outdoors, reading, as well as baking yummy treats for people
Dr. Durkin was born in San Diego, California. She lived in Northern California, Minnesota and Colorado before settling in Phoenix, Arizona. She received a Bachelor�s degree in Cognitive Neuroscience with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Denver in 2012, and graduated with her Doctorate of Veterinary medicine from Midwestern University in 2018. Her professional interests include surgery, dentistry, emergency, feline and exotic medicine.
Outside of work, her interests include traveling, gardening, reading and cooking/baking. Her prior experiences volunteering in shelters and spay/neuter clinics has left her with a serious overabundance of animals at home, including 2 cats, 3 dogs, 1 crimson bellied conure, 1 hamster and multiple fish tanks.
