Dr. Alfred Sherer

University of Illinois, College of Veterinary Medicine Graduate. Has worked for Banfield for 8 years and currently is at the Banfield Hospital in Estero, Florida. Dr. Sherer has 3 dogs: Two long haired Chihuahuas �Patty Cake and Buttercup, and a long hair miniature Dachshund named Aidan.His main pastime, while not practicing veterinary medicine, is writing music and lyrics.

Dr. Katie Lawrie

Dr. Katie Lawrie started with Banfield in 2015 after graduating from St George's University School of Veterinary medicine. Before vet school she attended Grand Valley State University in Michigan and received a bachelor of science in biology with a prevet emphasis. She has a strong interest in exotic animal medicine and especially enjoys seeing reptile patients. Dr. Lawrie shares her home with 2 dogs, Pepper and Porter, 2 chameleons and 9 snakes. In her free time she enjoys reading and spending time outdoors with her dogs.
