Dr. Lauren Lehtinen
Dr. Lauren Lehtinen

I have been with Banfield since June 2011. I have a Bachelors degree in Biology from Baylor University and a Masters degree in Veterinary Parasitology from Texas A&M University. I moved north to attend Veterinary School at the University of Minnesota and graduated in 2011. I have 4 feisty male cats named Theo, Moby, Yoshi, and Goshira. I also have a golden retriever named Lola and a pit bull terrier named Frankie. I am interested in providing veterinary care to under-serviced populations and have volunteered with organizations providing care on reservations and at soup kitchens. I love doing crossword puzzles and I am an excellent shower singer! My goals as a veterinarian are to be a strong advocate for those that have no voice and to provide the highest level of care to help pets and familes stay healthy and happy.

I have been with Banfield since May of 2013. Before attending the University of Minnesota for veterinary school I graduated from Concordia College in Moorhead, MN with a B.A. in Spanish and biology. I have a Boston terrier/pug mix named Hershey, who is extremely crazy and always keeps me on my toes! In my spare time I can be found reading, frisbee golfing, and spending time at my familys cabin up north. I also love to travel, and have enjoyed working with international veterinary organizations during veterinary school; this is a passion I hope to continue in the future. I love the variety of cases that general practice has to offer, and it is my goal to provide the best care for all of my patients, and to help strengthen the bond between pets and their families. In the future I hope to own a small hobby farm of alpacas, my favorite animal!

Dr. Jeffrey Stueve
Dr. Jeffrey Stueve

Dr. Stueve graduated from the University of Minnesota in 2006. He initially pursued veterinary medicine because of his interests in math, science and chemistry. He also felt that every day brought something new and exciting. Over time, he enjoyed making connections with owners and pets! By building relationships with families, he grew to understand more about how important pets are to their families and work transformed into a day of reconnecting with furry friends. His veterinary interests are dentistry, surgery, dermatology, and preventive medicine. Dr. Stueve is married and has 3 children (twin boys and a little princess). His family inspires and challenges him to be better every day and they show him how important life is. Dr. Stueve loves the outdoors and is particularly passionate about wildlife and forestry and wants to make sure he leaves a better legacy for his kids.
