Dr Rempel has been practicing veterinary medicine for 29 years. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Microbiology from Kansas State University in 1980. During the 1978 to1979 academic year she studied at Justus Leibig University in Geissen, Germany, as a foreign exchange student. Dr. Rempel received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1984. Dr. Rempel practiced emergency and small animal medicine in Madison, WI for 5 years before moving to Arizona in 1989. She continued her career in emergency medicine before transitioning to small animal medicine. She joined Banfield Pet Hospital in 2008 and became Chief of Staff in 2011. Her special interests include surgery and feline medicine. She is featured in an article in the Banfield Pet Hospital State of Pet Health 2014 Report.
Dr. Rempel shares her home with her husband and 3 children and 5 cats. Her hobbies include cooking, gardening and sewing when time allows.
Dr. Lee graduated in 2009 from Kansas State University college of Veterinary medicine. She practiced for a year in a small private clinic before joining Banfield. She has been working for Banfield for the past four years.
Dr. Buzard graduated in 2012, from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, with clinical studies at Oregon State University. Prior to veterinary school, she worked as a veterinary technician for many years. She joined Banfield in 2013, and has a special interest in surgery and preventative medicine.
Dr Buzard shares her home with her husband and a houseful of Rhodesian Ridgebacks.
Her hobbies include akc shows and obedience training. She began showing dogs in akc conformation in 1989 and later handled professionally for akc. She started akc and asfa lure coursing in early 1990's. She began showing akc rally obedience in 2014 and is hoping to start training in agility, and start therapy dog work later this year.
