Yvette, RVT Practice Manager-Yvette graduated from Texas A&M University with a BS in Wildlife Sciences; emphasis in Animal Behavior. She then chose veterinary medicine as her profession. She has been in the field since 2011 and started her career with Banfield in 2013. Yvette served as a Mars Ambassador with Banfield; traveling to Puerto Rico to perform philanthropic activities to better the lives of pets. Her current interest include dentistry, ethology, and fear-free practices. Monica RVT, Shift Lead-Monica is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been with Banfield for over 6 years. Monica has 2 dogs a 6 year old Maltipoo called CoCo and a 7 year old pitbull called Boomer.  Monica can always be counted on to offer her considerable skills and knowledge to help provide the best care for your fur baby. Monica RVT, Shift Lead-Monica is a Registered Veterinary Technician who has been with Banfield for over 6 years. Richard-Shift Lead and Veterinary Assistant-RIchard brought his experience with specialty and emergency medicine to Banfield and has been a huge asset to us for more than 8 years.  Although he is currently without a pet he is always on the lookout for his next fur baby.  When Richard is not caring for your furry friends he is working out or doing crossfit.  He is also a huge all around sports fan supportin the Chargers, the Ducks, and the Lakers. Tamara is one of our fantastic new veterinary assistants. She is pictured here with her fur baby Max and has another one at home called Bella.  We feel very fortunate that Tamara has decided to become one of our team as she is compassionate an empathetic both with her 4 legged patients and her 2 legged clients. Maria came to us as an intern for a veterinary assisting program and it very quickly became evident that she had an affinity for this work.  We feel very lucky that Maria chose us when she was ready to begin her career in veterinary medicine. Bonnie Nahm, D.V.M.
Bonnie Nahm, D.V.M.

Dr. Nahm completed her undergraduate work at Northern State College and moved to Korea to attain her veterinary degree from KyungBuk National University. She then practiced in suburban Chicago for 20 years while raising her two boys. Since moving to San Diego in June of 2015, Dr. Nahm has enjoyed spending time at the local beaches as well as: reading, cooking, walking and traveling. She has a papillion named Nahbie and 4 cats.

Doctor Drew Rydell grew up on the beautiful island of Kauai, Hawaii. He attended Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo for his undergraduate education where he studied Animal Science. He shortly relocated to another island where he attended Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in the West Indies. Upon graduating from veterinary school, he started his career with Banfield pet hospital in Oceanside. On his days off he enjoys surfing, hiking, and spending time with his girlfriend, their rescue hound Roo, and kitty Herbie.

Jennifer Witt D.V.M

Dr. Jennifer Witt is an associate veterinarian at Banfield Pet Hospital at our beautiful Oceanside. She joined the Banfield family in November of 2014. Dr. Witt is a 2014 graduate from Washington State University's College of Veterinary Medicine. She completed her undergraduate training at the University of Nevada. Dr. Witt has strong interest in veterinary pathology and loves to educate staff and clients about the various disease processes affecting our pets. Outside of work, she enjoys oil painting and spending time outdoors: camping, fishing, hiking, and enjoying San Diego's beautiful beaches. She lives in Vista with her husband (also a Banfield doctor), three cats, and one dog
